I've been asigned to compare MTT and XTT assays and find out which one I prefere to use when evaluating MLR.
Have any of you compared those two, which one do you prefere and why?

Isn't MTT and XTT all but the same. Of course XTT is the modified MTT which does not require the removal of media and solubilizer for measurements. Other than that, the principle behind the two assays are the same.
For convenience definitely XTT. XTT does not require to replace media with solubilizer, and would reduce washing off of cells through the process.
