I am doing some CHIP experiments after 5-aza treatment.  Do I have to worry about effects of 5-aza incorproation on the real-time PCR.  I know DNMTs are suppose for form covalent adducts to 5-aza in the DNA,  could that physically block the PCR?   Also does anyone know what 5-aza basepairs to after PCR and what 5-aza gets converted into after bisulfite treatment?

Thanks

Mike
