Hi

I need to amplify my adenovirus stock produced by virapower adeno expression system, Invitrogen is using 293A cells for this purpose, but I don't have them can I use Pheonix cells instead of 293A? any other suggestions.

the answer is YES.  any 293 cell with E1/E3 gene products are OK to package adenovirus.
