Hello everyone,

I need to switch to lentiviruses for my promoter-reporterassays. I have my promoters (not commercially available) in pGL3-vectors at the moment, so we thought to try subcloning the constructs+the luc gene into our lentiviral backbone (pLKO.2 and pWPI.1). But I am not sure if that would be the smartest strategy - has anyone done something similiar or could provide some advice?
I also found lentiviral reportersystems from Clontech and ready-to-buy promoters in lentiviral constructs, but don't know if such a system is of advantage if i need to subclone anyway.
