Does LY means Lilly?

some pharmacologiacl substances are abbreviated as LY with a code number (f.i. LY 294002); does LY stand for Lilly?

Lilly components are LY....
If you don't know it, then ask it! Better to ask and look foolish to some then not ask and stay stupid.
