I need help!! I've recently done tissue homogenates for western blotting. If I kept the tissue for a long period of time at -80ºC (i.e. 3 months or even more), the electricity went off for more than a day and afterwards I did the homogenates, is it possible that protein degradation occured??
Thanks a lot!

Hello,

It really depends how high the temperature in the freezer went to. If the temperature was still lower than -20C, it shouldd be OK. If it was > 0C, you should worry about it.
