Due to the Biosafety requirement of my lab, I cannot bring my Hela cells out of my lab; however, the refrigerated centrifuge for isolation is in the lab across mine. I was told that unless I fixed my cell, I cannot bring it out. So I have to think of a way to fix and isolate my organelle.
I was wondering if I lyse the cells and fixed the organelles, would I still be able to perform isolation?
Just curious, if I perform apoptosis and fix my cell lysate at different time interval, would I still be able to isolate mitochondria with their respective surface proteins and structure?

Thank you for reading and your kind replies. :D
