Hi all,
I wonder if there is any study/reference/book... identifying the visible bands of proteins with ponceau. For example, I would like to know which are the most abundant proteins in neurons or SHYSY-5Y cells, that are also visible simply with ponceau, because when I check my transference with ponceau, I can see differences in some bands that keep me intrigued...

Thank you!

The problem with that idea is that the stains are non-specific, and lots and lots of proteins are similar sizes. However, you could look at the levels of some of the abundant proteins such as cytoskeletal ones.
