Hi,
I am trying to expand B lymphocytes in mixed lymphocytes isolated from human peripheral blood. I have found protocols for expanding T-lymphocytes but not for B-lymphocytes. I want to amplify the B lymphocyte numbers in general and necessarily for cytogenetics study. Would appreciate it greatly if anyone can share a working protocol.
Thanks!

Hi neuropath, I have little experience on lymphocyte culture but came upon this article after a bit of googling.. I hope this is close to what you need
Wiesner M, Zentz C, Mayr C, Wimmer R, Hammerschmidt W, et al. (2008) Conditional Immortalization of Human B Cells by CD40 Ligation. PLoS ONE 3(1): e1464. doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0001464
