i extracted protein from 0.2g flower sample by phenol extraction.
the protein content in the sample was about 1500ug/ml.
then about 100ug protein was loaded in IPG strip.
the focusing time needed up to 7 hours.
unfortunately, no spots were found in the sds-page.
is that the problem of my phenol extraction?
what the idle time for focusing step for 7cm IPG strip?
