We start a new methylation specific project. Any suggestion for the best negative control DNA (unmethylated DNA), for the methylation specific pcr? It suggested that we should use placental DNA. Any alternative choice?

Placental DNA is good. You can also try DNA extracted from sperm or whole-genome-amplified DNA (Qiagen-kit).
