Hi there,
I am trying to examine histone modification in my crop species. I am pretty new at this research area. Although there are lots of references on histone modification, most of them are about the model plant, Arabidopsis. I am not sure if the antibody is fine if I want to check the H3K9me2, H3K27me3, H3K4me3 ec in my crop species using the commercial antibody. The antibodies would be ok if I just do the Histone occupancy using unmodified Histone3 or 4 antibody for ChIP, Am I right? Any response would be appreciated.

Alfred
