Hallo!
I am running an electroporation protocol and when transforming whole plasmid DNA, I have no problem. When I am trying to transform DH5a cells with my ligation product I get no colonies, only an off-white sticky gelly stuff. I haven't electrophorized my ligation product. Do you think it would be useful? Has anyone ever had the same problem? Can you give me a tip?

I used up to 10 ul of ligation reaction for 50-200 ul competent cells. how much you use? or maybe the ligation didn't work? it takes time to optimize yourself with cloning.
