Fibroblasts can be placed on thin sheets of silicone rubber. Under normal circumstances, fibroblasts moving on the sheet exert sufficient tension so that the sheet visibly winkles. Under the following conditions, explain if normal fibroblasts be able to wrinkle the silicone sheet (8pts).

a. The cells are injected with large amounts of purified gelsolin.
b. The cells are treated with taxol.
c. The cells are treated with latrunculin A.
d. The cells are treated with latrunculin A and then washed and observed over a period of time.
