this is my first post here. I'm starting my thesis experiments with mouse oocytes.
Do any of you know how much RNA can I obtain from small number of oocytes (20-50) and then, after reverse transcription, how many RT-PCR can I perform with the obtained cDNA? I'm thinking about oligo(dG)tailing the 3'ends of my cDNA in order to amplify it by PCR. What do you think about? how many experiment will I be able to perform after that passage?
