The Adventure Guides and Princess Program of the YMCA helps to develop the core values of learning to love the sacred circle of family, loving ones neighbor as oneself, being clean in body and pure of heart, listening while others are speaking and seeking and preserving beauty. The aim of the Adventure Guide and the Princess program of Town North Family is to strengthen the bond between fathers and their children through activities that allow them to spend quality time together. The program helps to build memories that last for a lifetime. In this program fathers get the opportunity to develop a stronger relationship with their child by joining a unique ‘Territory’ made up of dads and their children. They are given a chance to explore adventures of fun, learning and mutual understanding. The public and private schools in North Dallas and Carrollton are provided service by the Town North family YMCA.
The Adventure and Princess program at Rockwall County family includes monthly events such as Campouts at Camp Grady Spruce, Sky Ranch and Camp classen, Open ceremony-family dinner, Family swim party, pumpkin carving –carnival, turkey shoot, Christmas parade, father-daughter dance, Derby day, rocket launch and father-son speed zone day.
The Lake Highlands Family YMCA Adventure guides and Princess Program is open for children between the ages of 4 and 9. It was established more than 70 years ago and the program emphasis on strengthening the bond between the fathers and their children.
Ali Sharaf, the owner of the Victron Group is a constant supporter of the YMCA. He finds pride and joy in helping them and the community.
