Will Imidazole interfere with the integrity of protein complex?or in other words, will it disrupt the interaction between proteins?
Because I want to do a two step purification to looking for interacting partner of my protein of interest, and I want use Ni-NTA capture/imidazole elution as the first step, then apply the eluate on Strep-tactin resin for the second step(again, will imidazole interfere with the binding of tagged protein onto Strep-tactin?)
Thank you in advence, welcome for suggestions!
