Hi......my question is ...how will you differentiate between an ion and a nanoparticle which will be synthesized in the same flask containing the ions????
for eg.,if i am synthesizing  silver nanoparticles using AgNO3 (silver nitrate) and a fungus, colour change occurs after 24 hrs and a peak occurs at 410 nm in a spectrum...but how can i determine the presence of Ag ions at that stage or how can i differentiate them or detect them (if there is a possibility that they are present)
