Hi all...
I'm trying an IMAC purification of a 105 kDa glycoprotein, using copper sulfate (II). The protein is expressed by mammalian cells and is secreted to the culture medium.
I see that for this type of purification Cu, Ni, Zn and Co sulfates are the recommended salts to use depending to the selectivity/loading required for the protein and the sample.
There is another salts of this cations that could be used for the IMAC purification? Cloride salts for example?
Thanks in advance.
