I have recently done a MMT assay and an LDH assay to examine which type of cell death has occurred in 3 different groups of cells necrotic, apoptotic and viable. I understand the techniques but I know very little on how to present the data. I have been told to "present the data as the mean (sem) of the replicate wells" but do I need to take the average of the control away from the test values? even though there were no cells in the control
If anyone can help I would be extremely greatful been looking for information all day and found nothing on how to present these assays
Thank you
Claire
