How do I get phalloidin to work on Human Brain sections?  I have brain sections that are acetone fixed and para-formaldehyde fixed and it won't work on either.  But I can get it to work on cell lines so I know it is not a problem with the phalloidin or the microscope.  I do no use methanol and I do permeate  the cells with triton x 100, block with 10% goat and add the phalloidin for 2 hours and still nothing.  Has anyone ever stained human brain with phalloidin and if so how did you do it?
