Hi,

I am doing my research on some mammalian cells using a LSM 510 Meta Confocal laser scanning microscope. Recently, I have noticed that I cannot see the fluorescence field (Green fluorescence due to presence of GFP-green fluorescent protein in my cells) through the eye piece. I cannot understand the reason behind this. Could anyone tell me what could be wrong? Is there any particular settings that need to be changed? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Could it be that you have photobleached the slides?

Is the slider for changing between eyepiece and camera in the correct position?

What filters do you have in place?
