Can I use delta delta Ct?

Hi,

I should begin to deal with methylation qPCR. I want to quantificate methylation status of P16. I would like to know if delta delta Ct method is appropriate for such analysis. In papers that I am reading, authors mention standard curve analysis ( relative or absolute), but not delta delta Ct.

please help!
