Hi,

I am visiting Uppsala University this month and looking for hotels in economical range. I would prefer to stay very close to Uppsala central station. I checked online and Hotell Uppsala centralstation looks to be in my budget. If some one has any idea about the same or have a better option, kindly let me know. I am visiting Sweden for the first time so any tips or suggestions are invited....

Maybe you need to contact the university? They sure have many congresses etc.. So they know from experience where the visitors stay?
Doesnt every university has a group of people working on the "social role" of the university in the city or something like that? (connections with hotels, places to have meetings etc?)
