Dear All,

I read this article :

Assessment of the C4 phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase gene diversity in grasses (Poaceae)

G. Besnard, B. Offmann, C. Robert, C. Rouch and F. Cadet


and in table 2 for primer one forward the sequence is:

CCG MGG MSC KCC ATG GCG TC

Please Any one know what is (M, S, K) meaning (refer to what)?

M stands for "aMino", so this nucleotide could be A or C

S stands for "Strong", as in nucleotides that have 3 H-bonds, so this nucleotide could be C or G

K stands for "Keto", so this nucleotide could be G or T
