Hey forum,

More of a general question for this afternoon. As the title says I am interested in knowledge or publications that describe how rapid DNA methylation changes can occur. Particularly for in vitro cell culture studies following treatment with factors, hormones etc

DNA methylation changes either demethylation or de novo methylation are coped with DNA replication. In other words, the cells must double once to show a change in methylation.
