Whats this 'Impact Factor'. I googled it but I'm not satisfied with the results. Which are the journals having a high impact factor?

The impact factor tells you how "popular" (or respected) a certain journal is.
(and thus gets more credits, citations)
Check this topic for more info:
http://www.protocol-...ct-factor-list/

and check:

http://en.wikipedia....i/Impact_factor

and http://www.sciencega...rank/index.html
or http://www2.lib.udel...ldev/impact.htm to get to know the impact factor for journals

If you don't know it, then ask it! Better to ask and look foolish to some then not ask and stay stupid.
