Dear all,

I wonder if RNA (not cDNA) be amplified in 2-step qPCR? Or there is jus contamination! I am using KAPA™ SYBR® FAST qPCR Kit.

you can possibly get signal from the genomic DNA but not from RNA.

So if I suspect there is a contamination in my cDNA after running NTC in the qPCR, I can rule out RNA contamination. Thanks!
