If the stoichiometry of the peroxidase enzyme reaction is such that 2 molecules of dye are oxidized per molecule of H2O2 reduced, then how can peroxidase actvity of the stock enzyme solution be calculated in Units/ml?
When the standard assay to measure peroxidase activity was carried out with 10microlitre of the stock peroxidase solution, the rate of change of absorbance at 340nm was found to be 0.27 per min.
