I'm trying to find a protocol for preparation of mRNA for transfection into cells but all I can find is stuff about preparing probes. These mRNAs need to be polyadenylated and capped so they don't get degraded. Do I just follow the same protocol as would make a probe and then add on to that a polyadenylation/capping protocol?
