Has anyone here working with mCherry - specifically pG-cherry-mGr and has a problem in transforming them? because I've been trying to transform them and the colony just refuse to grow. I'm using alpha select cells. Thanks in advance

We're using mCherry and I didn't hear of any problems with transformations. Could you ask me specific questions that I can pass on to the post-doc who I think prepared our maxipreps? You want to know what bacteria were used? I don't know pG nor mGr and I don't know what form we received the mCherry in, at this time. You did a control transformation with pUC18? You sure you're using the right antibiotic?
