Hello. I'm new to cell culturing and will be growing some MDA-MB-231 cells soon. I understand the seeding/passaging/etc. procedure but am unsure of how to proceed after that. The ultimate goal is to add proteins conjugated to quantum dots to the cells and have them attach to an integrin on the cell membrane. What kind of surface would it be best to grow the cell on for this kind of experiment? Agar? I heard these cells grow on coverslips too, would that work?
Thanks!
