Hi all

Can the restricted plasmid with overhangs stay stable when stored in -20C before using for cloning purpose? Do the overhangs get damaged by thawing once?

constant freeze thawing can degrade the DNA but it should be ok once.
cells should be viable for up to a year at -70oC though
