Hello everybody! I want to isolate total RNA from specific mouse brain regions like striatum and hippocampus (5-50 mg). I would appreciate if you could recommend me a homogenizetion method for the dissected brain tissue. Thanks.

We use single use disposable teflon homogenization tips. After that, a good way to get rid of the sticky gDNA is to push it through a needle a couple of times.
