Just curious to know how many publications should one have after finishing PhD? I mean from PhD RESEARCH. I understand the more, the better. But what do you think how many atleast a person should have to get a decent job?
Thanks

My former school require2 one and a half. My current one only requires one paper and some guy can graduate with one paper in local Journal with no IF.

to get a postdoc job after PhD, the methods that you are familiar with are more important than number of papers; publication record is more important for grants or getting a job as PI
