Hello! Has anyone tried ChIP on frozen (unfixed) brain tissue? I would prefer to use sonication rather than micrococcal nuclease and I was thinking about powdering my sample with a mortar and fix it in PBS+Formaldehyde (10min,RT). than i would pellet this down, remove supernatant and quench the reaction with glycine and proceed with the sonication... how does it sound?
Has anyone tried crosslinked ChIP on frozen brain tissue on proteins other than histones?

thanks!
