Hi,
I learned that tamoxifen is antagonist of the estrogen receptor. But how come 4-OHT can activate a CreER system?

4-OHT is an estrogen analogue, as are many other things, including phenol red and Bisphenol A (leaches out of some plastics when they are heated).
