After cutting the his-tags off from the protein, a band on SDS gel should be slightly lower when compared to uncut protein. However, for my case, I keep seeing that my cut protein has been shown as a higher band than uncut protein. Are there anyone who saw this thing before? or could you give me any explanation? thanks.
