How much virus to how many cells? What other conditions do you have (medium, temperature, incubation time with virus...) what does your supervisor or other senior investigator (post doc, experienced technician) think is normal?

started this for first time in laboratory.
therefore, no experienced person available.
cells are cultered in EMEM media, 27 deg , incubation with virus variable.
chik virus does not cause any cytopathic effect in mosquito host.
so, it should multiply peacefully in mosquito cell line without causing lysis
