we need a cell-permeable, cell-trapped red dye (excitation around 590 nm) f.i. conjugated to acetoxymethyl(AM) to unspecifically stain the cell/cytosol; (we are not interested in preparing it for ourselves); any suggestion is welcome

I use Cell tacker dye from Invitrogen C34552.
works well at least 2 weeks or so after staining without killing cells.
