I want to create a isogenic mutant for one gene in the bacteria that I am working with, but I do not have a reporter antibacterial gene to be inserted in the gene, something like chloramphenicol acetyl transferase known as CAT, does anyone know how I can find this gene. can we buy it or ask some one to give it to us as a gift. please let us know
