Tell me please, can I use the ELISA to study histone acetylation? The articles on this subject is almost always used Western bloting, and yet I have never seen the use of ELISA. Why is that? Is there a fundamental inability to examine acetylation of histones by ELISA?

Histone ELISAs are quite common now from epigentek or active motif
