Can anyone tell me the difference between TaqManŽ Gene Expression Master Mix and TaqManŽ Universal PCR Master Mix (2X)from ABI? I was wondering if the former can be used for real time RT PCR using cDNA? The latter is way too expensive :(

If I remember correctly, I used the TaqMan gene expression mastermix and my qPCR worked.
