I just wanted to know if storing the Phusion high fidelity Taq mix at -70 rather than the preferred -20 makes a difference in terms of product yield etc. Any experience/advice would be appreciated

I don't think freezing and thawing enzymes or proteins from such a drastic range of temperatures (ie. -70 all the way to room temp) is good. I think it would just emphasize enzyme inactivity due to freeze-thaw. -70 is really meant for preserving cells, DNA, and RNA. Proteins should be kept at -20.

I hope they teach you that storing enzyme/protein at -70 or so is actually bas as they may start unfolding.
Unlike DNA, Protein is not "the colder, the better"
