Hello!
I need some advices regarding hiv-1 protease storage conditions. For the inhibition assay I use a MES buffer at pH=7.2 (80 mM MES, 160 mM NaCl, 1.0 mM DTT, 1.0 mM EDTA, 0.1% PEG8000), can I use the same buffer to store the protein? Is there a buffer more suitable?
Thank you

(disclaimer- i have no experience with hiv proteases) the buffer looks okay to me for storage. it is similar in composition to the buffers in which we stored our proteases.
