Hi friends,

I need to compare gene expression values of only healthy individuals using real time pcr. I now have the Ct values for the different individuals for the gene of interest as well as the house keeping gene. I was wondering if delta Ct is the method that i could use for this i.e. I calculate delta Ct by subtracting Ct of gene of interest from Ct of house keeping gene, and then use the formula =power(2,-delta Ct) in excel to calculate the change in expression. Further use ANOVA to graphically represent these results?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
