My very first post!

Hello, i just want to ask what's the difference between lactose and sucrose broth? Which of the two mainly detects gas production and acid production or ?both? We have an experiment about synergism and antagonism using e.coli, s. aureus and c. albicans. we used Lactose broth and Sucrose broth as our media. However, we forgot to label the broths before starting! We ended up guessing which is which. LOL. All the tubes showed gas and acid production.

In the first group, most of the tubes have shown gas and acid production and the other group only showed little gas and acid production. So please help me how to identify which of the two groups are Lactose and Sucrose. Haha.

Thank you so much! :)

The copy of our result is attached :D
