Hi, does anyone have a protocol for formalin fixing and then paraffin-embedding tissue culture cells? We want
to mimic how pathology samples are treated and compare immuno-techniques and pcr on fresh and
formalin/paraffin-embedded cells.
Thank You,
Mark

When I have wanted to do this I have cultured cells on well inserts (usually coated with collagen).
The insert is easy to cut out and then can be processed like tissue samples. The inserts are easy to section and you can look a single cell layers very nicely.
