Hey I'm new to this so here goes:
My mentor told me that in RT the cDNA produced by the reaction has the same weight as the RNA used in the reaction. How does that work out?

Maybe more appropriately it's the molar amount that would be same, given that the conversion efficiency is 100 percent. Same molar amount of cDNA would for sure be lighter than the starting RNA, because it's DEOXY-.
