I was wondering, what kind of problems might arise if I filmed the membrane on the opposite side of where the proteins were transferred?
Could there be higher background noise? More unspecific bands appearing? Lower expression of specific bands (protein of interest)?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

If you have a lot of protein, you might observe a signal through the membrane - much lower of course than on the right side. Otherwise, you will not observe anything.
